A Day of Gourmet Exploration Unfolds

The aroma of coffee…
Wake up to the aroma of freshly baked croissants and muffins, wafting from the sun filled kitchen.  Homemade jams and preserves are laid on the verandah tables and freshly squeezed juices, homemade muesli and granola’s line the breakfast room.
If a cooked breakfast appeals then expect a savoury feast par excellence.

Lunch is available at the Lodge for a small extra charge or we welcome the opportunity to recommend a number of fantastic local restaurants and cafes.
You are also more than welcome to take a picnic on your daily travels, prepared by our chef using the freshest local produce. This is sure to impress, and includes a bottle of wine from our own vineyard.

A romantic dinner for two, perhaps you’re feeling convivial and would like to share fascinating stories with fellow guests in the elegant main dinning room… the choice is yours.

As an introduction to dinner pre drinks and canapés are served on the verandah, where there is a chance to make new friends and chat about the days outings, before being seated for dinner.

In true New Zealand style, an elegant three course dinner is to follow.  This is created daily around the guest’s likes and dietary requirements.  Every course is prepared with the freshest of ingredients, local and organic where ever possible.  The emphasis is on healthily, uncomplicated and above all fantastic tasting cuisine.

Our Chef is influenced by the beauty and simplicity that makes our New Zealand cuisine so unique.
